Business 24/7:The financial crisis has shown us the downside of many conventional financial instruments, but Islamic banking products are believed to have emerged relatively unscathed and investors in these products are believed to have done better than those investing in more traditional products.
Experts say the prohibition on charging interest and the lack of structured Islamic banking products may have prevented the sector from investing in assets that turned fatal for conventional banks.
