Prudential BSN Takaful Launches Takaful Puteri For Women

Bernama -- Prudential BSN Takaful (PruBSN) today announced the launch of its latest product "Takaful Puteri rider" which offers protection against the financial impact of expensive treatment in relation to female illnesses.

PruBSN said Takaful Puteri, specially designed for women, provides customers with a comprehensive coverage and flexibility.

"There are two distinctive plans available in Takaful Puteri rider, which are Takaful Puteri and Takaful Puteri Plus," it said in a statement.

PruBSN chief agency officer Wan Azman Wan Mamat said customers have the option of choosing a plan that also covers pregnancy complications and infant congenital illnesses under Takaful Puteri Plus.

He said Takaful Puteri and Takaful Puteri Plus riders are open to all existing female Takafulink Plan participants aged between 19 and 60.

"With the range of benefits terms to choose from, customers have the flexibility to decide their suitable length of protection which can be increased to 60, 70 or 80 years old as well as the extent of coverage they need," he added.

Takaful Puteri benefits include Lady Care Benefit which covers female- related illnesses and specified treatments such as skin grafting due to skin cancer and burns and facial reconstructive surgery due to accidents.

Meanwhile, Mother Care Benefits cover pregnancy complications and infant congenital illnesses.

"Distributed by 9,800 PruBSN agency force, Takaful Puteri has received favourable response from customers," it added.
