
Tehran Times – The 19th Annual Islamic Banking Seminar will be held here during Aug. 30-31 in the Islamic Banking Institute affiliated to Iran’s Central Bank.
According to Mehr News Agency, the confab will focus on the banking system’s role in economic liberalization and Islamic banking in adaptation with electronic banking development.
Some articles and speeches will also be delivered in the seminar about certified checks and their influence on the country’s economy, studying the economic impact of deletion of zeros from the bank notes, and reviewing the influences of issuing higher-digit banknotes on an economy with inflation.
