
The Peninsula • Pak-Qatar Family Takaful Limited (PQFTL) has expanded its branch network in nine cities across Pakistan. The company is 100 percent sponsored by leading Qatari organisations like Qatar Islamic Insurance Company, Qatar International Islamic Bank (QIIB), Qatar Islamic Bank (QIB), Qatar National Bank (QNB), Masraf Al Rayan and Amwal, along with the Munich-based FWU Group.
The cities where branches have been opened are Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad, Kotli, Peshawar, Faisalabad, Quetta, Hyderabad, and Gujarat. P Ahmed, Director and Founding CEO of PQFTL, while inaugurating the Karachi branch yesterday said: "Following our vision of providing Takaful to every Pakistani, we are establishing our presence in different cities and towns across the country. We are committed to make Family Takaful easily accessible to everyone."
Ahmed said the nine network branches have come into being in less than a year's time and is a sign of the company's commitment and vision towards aggressive branch network expansion. By the end of this year, PQFTL hopes to have added to its network by setting up branches in Sialkot, Multan, Sukhur, and Mirpur in Azad Kashmir.
PQFTL, the pioneers of Family Takaful in Pakistan, recently launched its protection-with-investment products ‘Share ‘n Care Savings’ and ‘ABC Child Education Protection Takaful’.
