Tamweel awarded 'Best Home Finance' at Arabian Property Awards

Tamweel PJSC, the UAE's largest provider of real estate finance, announced today that it has won the 'Best Home Finance' category at this year's inaugural Arabian Property Awards, organised by ITP Publishing Group (ITP).

The Arabian Property Awards are intended to recognise and celebrate successful companies and projects in the region's property market. The winners in each of the 23 categories of awards are chosen by a jury comprising senior editors and directors of ITP.

Receiving the award, Wasim Saifi, Group CEO of Tamweel, said:

'This award is in recognition for our pioneering work in redefining the real estate finance sector of this region. In markets that are renowned for the dynamism of its real estate sector, Tamweel stands out from among the competition as a leader in performance and innovation. For Tamweel to be chosen from among so many worthy companies, as having the best home finance offerings, is a significant achievement.'

The year 2008 has been one of many accolades for Tamweel. Most recently, Tamweel was named 'Best Mortgage/Finance House' at this year's Banker Middle East Awards, and was also the recipient of the 'Islamic Finance Deal of the Year' at the Euromoney Awards. This year also witnessed Tamweel win the 'Structured Finance Deal of the Year Award' from Islamic Finance News, as well as Superbrand award from the UAE Superbrand Council.

The inaugural Arabian Property Awards ceremony was held in Madinat Jumeirah, Dubai. The award for 'Best Home Finance Product' was one of 23 categories of awards presented at the event.
