KUALA LUMPUR-- Takaful Ikhlas Sdn Bhd has appointed Tuan Hj. Sharkawi Alis as its new chairman and non-executive director effective Jan 3, following the resignation of Tuan Hj. Mohammad Abdullah from the posts.
Sharkawi is also chairman of MNRB Holdings Bhd, Takaful Ikhlas' parent company and Malaysian Reinsurance Bhd, the reinsurance arm of MNRB.
In a statement today, Takaful Ikhlas said it has also appointed Yusoff Yaacob as its independent director.
