Some of the leading figures in the growing takaful industry are to speak at the Takaful 2008 conference to be held in Bahrain next month.
The event, held in association with Arabian Banking & Finance magazine, will seek to address the challenges facing participants in the Islamic insurance sector.
Among the panellists who have been confirmed for next month's conference are: ShankarGarigiparthy, acting director, supervision of financial institutions, Qatar Financial Centre Regulatory Authority; Ayman Al-Ajmi, general manager, AIG Takaful Enaya; Sohail Jaffer, partner, FWU Group; Dr Saleh J. Malaikah, vice chairman and CEO, Salama; Dr Alexander Ressos, director of the International Takaful Institute in Switzerland; and Dr Daud Bakar, president and CEO of the International Institute of Islamic Finance, Malaysia.
